Use local Cryotherapy for post cosmetic surgery recovery to assist with:
•Swelling • Bruising •Pain •Redness
What is local Cryotherapy and how does it help for post surgery recovery?
During a local Cryotherapy session the affected area is treated to nitrogen vapour of up to -160 ˚C and the skin temperature is brought down to about 4 ˚C. The treated area compensates by heating itself through speeding up cellular metabolism, releases enhanced levels of endorphins and drastically increasing blood flow, which in turn accelerates your body’s own natural healing. Cryotherapy is therefore a great tool to assist with post-surgery recovery for swelling, bruising, redness and pain.
For what type of cosmetic surgery can it be used for?
For any surgery where there is inflammation, pain, swelling and bruising local Cryotherapy can be beneficial. Especially for surgeries where are there lots of swelling and bruising Cryotherapy has shown to significantly help reduce recovery time and speed up the healing process. Examples of surgeries we have treated:
- Thread lift
- Chemical peels
